Naviate Daylight Factor is currently in private bèta. Interested in trying it out? Please contact Symetri. Once having a separate Daylight Factor license obtained, you can use the following steps to activate:

  1. Close the Naviate Daylight plugin.
  2. Delete the file
    C:\ProgramData\Symetri\Naviate\Revit 2020\NaviateAN\XinapsModules.lic

  3. Reopen the Naviate Daylight plugin.

  4. Activate a full license with your given license credentials.
    Once activated, the license results with a green message.
    Naviate Daylight application now opens.

  5. If Dynamic Daylight is not calculating, then
    open Settings, go to second tab and enable "Calculate Daylight Factor" checkbox.


Optionally you can add some more room columns showing the Dynamic Daylight results:

  1. Open below file in notepad:
    C:\ProgramData\Symetri\Naviate\Revit 2020\NaviateAN\Settings\XinapsDaylightAreaSettings.xml
  2. Set the following values to true:
      <RoomColumns>
    <ColumnName>...</ColumnName>
    <IsVisible>true</IsVisible>

    Only set the RoomColumns, whereas the ColumnName is the name of the column you want to show.

  3. Reopen Naviate Daylight.
    The columns should appear now.
