This error means that the Xinaps license file is inaccessible due to Windows User Account Control (UAC)

Xinaps needs full control (read and write permissions) on the license file, in order to check and modify future license changes.

You can change the file permissions by changing its file properties, and by navigating to the tab "Security". Read more >

We recommend to change the permissions of the whole Xinaps application folder C:\ProgramData\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins\XinapsForRevit.bundle

(This issue may happen when you activated Xinaps for Revit with a Windows administrator account, and you try to use Xinaps with a non-administrative user after. It occurs mostly with a Xinaps installation on a Windows Server, as its Windows user rights are stricter.)
