There are possible reasons why you think Xinaps is not working as expected:

  • Xinaps applications are not visible in the Revit ribbon anymore.
  • One or more plugins get a crash when opening the plugin with the XinapsExample.rvt project
  • A plugin takes too much time when opening the plugin with the XinapsExample.rvt project

If one of these reason are applicant to you, please try the following solution:

  1. Go to Windows configuration panel
  2. Go to "Programs and features"
  3. Find and select "Xinaps for Revit" in the program list.
  4. Click the "Repair" button above the program list. *

Alternative solution is to uninstall the plugins completely, and download and install them again:

  1. Go to Windows configuration panel
  2. Go to "Programs and features"
  3. Find and select "Xinaps for Revit" in the program list.
  4. Click the "Uninstall" button above the program list. *
  5. Download and run the Xinaps installer again.
